Your Role

The Provider Operations team is responsible for procurement, processing and enablement of consumption of provider and practitioner add, change or terminate requests data demographics and attributes. Using a combination of automated capabilities and manual procedures, the Department supports all provider types and all Lines of Business organization wide. The Manager will report to the Director of Provider Operations. In this role you will be accountable to manage the inventory end to end against regulatory and contractual timeliness and quality metrics inventory management techniques, protocols and operational controls. You will support and manage the performance of the staff to process transactions using both automated and manual capabilities. Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Direct the activities of a software quality assurance function
  • Develop quality standards for company products and oversee the development and execution of software test plans and analysis of test results
  • Provide guidance in the preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages and systems, computational software, and related technology
  • Provide day-to-day management of a team of Software Configuration Management Engineers
  • Work with other Software Configuration Management managers to implement SCM strategies across the organization
  • Manage Demographics update inventory according to timeliness and quality standards for both manual and automated processing
  • Manage high volume of Provider Information & enrollment staff
  • Maintain and develop ongoing operational controls to ensure compliance



Qualifications:

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 7 years prior relevant experience, including 3 years of management experience gained as a team leader, supervisor or project/program manager
  • Requires experience in operational inventory management & control for large high volume operational team
  • Requires strong issues & conflict resolution skills working across multiple functional areas to achieve common goal
  • Requires strong industry knowledge of Health Plan operations and provider data utilization
  • Requires strong skills is change & performance management
  • Requires strong root cause diagnostic & process remediation skills
