We’re looking for Software Development Managers to lead one of our growing engineering teams. In this role you will lead a group of 4-6 developers and work closely with Design Product and Data partners to enable your team to ship excellent.

In this role you will:

• Set a strategic vision with your product counterpart and use it to develop a roadmap for your team working closely with stakeholders.

• Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ experiences to set and maintain a high bar.

• Be a hands-on leader with strong craft to provide clear direction to your team and produce high quality work at speed.

• Ensure Design Product and Engineering (and any other functions) work well together and are aligned on shared goals for planning and project work.

• Directly manage developers through identifying career and development opportunities.

• Establish a strong culture on your team and help to mature our engineering practices.

• Create clarity through shared rituals strong communication and context.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Experience managing software development teams.

• Proven track record of delivering well-designed and tested software.

• Experience working in a fast-moving high-growth company and/or experience working in consumer fintech.

• Experience working in a collaborative environment with product management design and data partners.

• Experience with our tools and technologies: Kotlin Java Ruby on Rails GraphQL with Apollo Kafka Typescript ReactJS (note: experience with all is a nice to have not required!).
