Galileo Financial Technologies, LLC seeks Manager, Software Development in Sandy, UT:
Job Duties: Responsible for the full development life-cycle design from project requirement to
deployment. Work on automation and improvement of data exchanges and data pipelines between
internal and external teams. Facilitate the definition of project scope, deliverables, and goals. Write,
test, and deploy efficient, scalable code to production that impacts millions of individuals. Lead cross-
functional delivery teams to ensure deliverables are met. Track project performance against defined
milestones/goals. Conduct process improvement projects to increase performance in vital program
metrics. Communicate ongoing project health with key stakeholders and business leadership. Maintain
strict compliance with established project management policies and guidelines. Make significant
contributions to the code base. Define best practices and uphold coding standards. Develop and apply
advanced technologies, engineering principles, theories, and concepts. Work within the Engineering
team to develop features that specifically benefit users. Deliver high-quality code on schedule,
communicate with groups in and outside the development team. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Masterās degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science,
Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job
offered or related field, OR Bachelorās degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science,
Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of experience in the job
offered or related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) C++; (2) Object Oriented Programming; (3) Software Development Life
Cycle (SDLC); (4) Test Driven Development; (5) Test Automation; (6) Regression Testing; (7)
Requirements Analysis; (8) JIRA; (9) Software Application Design; (10) RESTful Web Services; and (11)
Operational Monitoring. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is
acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
