We have a great opportunity here at UKG for a dedicated Manager to lead one of our Software Engineering teams. Our teams are responsible for several important products within our UKG suite. These products include features like annual performance reviews, 360-degree feedback, 1-1 meetings, and much more. Please apply and join our amazing team!
Primary Responsibilities: (other leadership responsibilities may be required). • Facilitate productive and positive team communication and collaboration. This includes but is not limited to: Fostering an environment of transparency and open discussion, resource planning and working closely with other leaders and direct reports. • Mentor and support the professional, technical and personal growth of team members. Help develop their career path by assigning projects tailored to their potential, personality, work style and goals while encouraging healthy exploration beyond their "comfort zone". • Own team processes to increase efficiency. Develop, measure and interpret statistics that serve as indicators of team performance. Use this information to drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Deliver simple and elegant solutions in the team portfolio based on agreed upon timelines and commitments while cultivating an environment conducive to high team morale and productivity. • Set the example and expectations for team conduct. Inspire positive behavior and interactions. When needed, directly address, and resolve, behavior that falls below expectations. • Expedite project deliverables while maintaining sustainable work pace that does not compromise on standards and quality.
This is a hybrid role model going into the office 3 days/week.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:• Experience in software and web development, ideally in SaaS• Experience with agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and driving continuous improvement with a team• Experience setting and achieving sound goals, for example, OKRs or SMART goals• Experience leading a team through organizational change
Preferred Qualifications:• Experience coaching and mentoring engineers at all levels• Knowledge of architecture and design patterns• Proven track record on building and maintaining productive relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders and groups in the organization• Ability to go into the office 3 days/week on a hybrid basis
Pay Transparency for Colorado, New York, Washington and California
The pay range for this position in Colorado, New York, Washington and California is $XX to $XX (or $XX), however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation. San Francisco Bay Area Pay Law
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area, the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $XX to $XX (or $XX) per year.
