We are looking for a Manager, Software Engineering to join our Generative AI team.
What You'll Do
  • Create and manage cross-platform (iOS, Android) product and engineering roadmaps that will enable the foundations of our responsible growth product strategy
  • Partner cross-functionally with stakeholder teams at Snap in order to align and deliver such product milestones
  • Closely collaborate with PMs in order to translate product requirements into technical designs, which are then turned into engineering roadmaps.
  • Build a scalable and sustainable mobile engineering foundation that will support our future product evolution
  • Build and grow a team of exceptional software engineers and technical leaders

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience working in software engineering
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team
  • Experience with large-scale backend platforms powering ML models

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading backend teams contributing to large scale consumer applications
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a company

Compensation:
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
  • Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) : The base salary range for this position is $230,000 - $335,000 annually
  • Zone B : The base salary range for this position is $219,000 - 318,000 annually
  • Zone C : The base salary range for this position is $196,000 - $285,000 annually

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
