As the Engineering Manager of the Moments Tech team on League of Legends (PC), you will lead the engineering team that delivers Events content and experiences to players across the globe. The Moments initiative strives to make memorable experiences that players deeply immerse themselves into - within the game and the League universe. Vivid art, novel story-telling, and challenging quests are some ways that make these experiences unforgettable and engaging. You will report to the Senior Director of Software Engineering for League of Legends (PC).

• Manage a team of 4-10 full stack engineers; coaching them, overseeing performance management, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring positive results.
• Manage the health and performance of the engineering team with empathy and authenticity, building trust and inspiring them to overcome challenges.
• Help build great teams through recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and retaining people.
• Stay hands-on with your team's tech, overseeing the technical design and deliverables of the team and working with your team's technical lead.
• Understands the product vision, identifies misalignments, and works collaboratively to get the right vision in place

• 2+ years experience directly leading an engineering team either as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead & mentor.
• 5+ years as a Software Engineer with a focus on building consumer or player facing products.
• Experience with software development, including shipping one or more products on large code bases.
• Expertise in C++, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience collaborating across departments to create solutions.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Experience running a live Game-as-a-Service.
• Experience in game development.
