Your Role
Zip is looking for a creative and motivated Manager of Solution Engineering with experience building or leading teams in the Commercial B2B space. Zip SEs are valued resources in the sales cycle trusted by AEs and Customers alike. Your role is to guide our Commercial SE team to be champions for Zip in partnership with our Commercial sellers and leaders.
Since this role will make a large impact on our team we’re looking for someone with proven success in past SE or leadership roles in solutions delivery coaching and developing talent supporting efforts to improve sales solutions execution and channeling feedback to product teams to help guide our product roadmap.

This role will also partner with our fast-growing Channel initiatives helping to scale Zip with partner training and enablement.
You Will

Build manage lead and inspire a high-performing SE team to achieve near and long term sales targets aligned with our Commercial sales teams

Hold SEs accountable to actively and accurately report deal progress and feedback to sales leadership to help drive forecasting efforts

Actively work to keep your understanding of Zip’s product and effective selling motions up to date to provide experienced perspective to SEs and the sales team

Identify opportunities and develop strategies to improve sales process efficiency and productivity across the SE organization

Funnel feedback on product gaps or areas for improvement identified in the sales cycle to help influence Zip’s product roadmap

Partner with the Channel sales efforts to evangelize Zip’s product with a broader community

Partner with the product team in rolling out new features or products to market

Collaborate with SE leadership to operationalize how we support and scale our business

Support your Solution Engineers with guidance coaching and strategic deal planning to ensure sales success

Be an advocate for your team and work with executive leadership to help build a strong foundational sales organization for Zip’s future growth
Qualifications

5-8+ years of relevant work experience with emphasis on successful solution engineering and SE leadership

Proven track record of collaborating with sales teams to attain sales targets

Experience in creating or implementing plans to improve SE efficiency and productivity across a dynamic team with ideas on how to scale individual SE’s impact

Motivated self-starter who can establish a course of action for self and others and drive initiatives to completion

Experience operating in hyper-growth or fast scaling go to market environments
Nice to Haves

Experience selling to procurement finance IT legal

Experience in selling to verticals and/or channel partners
The OTE range for this role is $225000-$250000. The OTE for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location relevant experience education or particular skills and expertise.
