Job Description

You:

Reporting to the Vice President of Presales, you will be part of an elite, customer-facing Technical PreSales team who help customers create a vision of success with Quickbase within their organization. As a key member of the Sales team, you will partner with Sales Managers and other leaders of the broader GTM team to drive excellence in the PreSales capability to achieve bookings, revenue, and retention goals. You will achieve success by mentoring and coaching the Solutions Consultants who report to you, identifying and improving key processes, and helping the team "level up" on high-impact deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow the Team: Hire, train, develop, and grow talented Solutions Consultants through coaching, mentoring, continuous evaluation, and feedback.
  • Partner: Work with Sales leaders, GTM leaders, and Product Management to ensure a smooth sales cycle, warm handoff, and continuous growth and satisfaction within our customer base.
  • Drive Bookings: Utilize your team effectively to help shape the customer's required capabilities and helping them navigate through the validation phase of the sale cycle.
  • Scale Impact: Gain a deep understanding of prospective customers to develop and enhance processes and resources that scale the team's impact on opportunities.
  • Ensure Best Practices: Work with key customer stakeholders to ensure best practices are implemented for long-term success, addressing all IT, Security, Technical, and policy concerns.
  • Provide Product Insights: Aggregate key insights from your team's engagements to help shape the product roadmap

Professional Experience:

  • Strong leadership skills setting team and individual goals
  • Strong track record of coaching, mentoring, and training a team for technical and soft-skills growth to exceed those goals
  • Experience establishing and growing relationships at all levels, from individual contributors to C-suite
  • Self-directed and able to identify opportunities to improve team processes and direction
  • Experience working with 3rd party service providers and partners, able to identify customer needs and communicate the value of service providers
  • Working with relational databases and implementing business process management solutions with SaaS / PaaS integration services
  • Management or technical selling experience is ideal but not required
