The Job At-A-Glance:
As a Manager, Solutions Consulting you will lead a team of Solutions Consultants responsible for bridging the gap between Q2's technical offerings and the specific needs and requirements of potential and existing customers. This role is crucial in helping the company win net new business, cross sell new products to existing clients by providing technical expertise and creating tailored solutions that address customer needs effectively.

As a Manager, Solutions Consulting you will lead a team of Solutions Consultants responsible for bridging the gap between Q2's technical offerings and the specific needs and requirements of potential and existing customers. This role is crucial in helping the company win net new business, cross sell new products to existing clients by providing technical expertise and creating tailored solutions that address customer needs effectively.
A Typical Day:
- Manage a team of Solutions Consultants, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Collaborate with senior management to define the overall solutions consulting strategy and align it with the company's goals and objectives.
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to understand prospect and customer needs and challenges.
- Participate in customer/prospect meetings and presentations to help demonstrate the value of the company's solutions.
- Stay up to date with the company's products or services, as well as industry trends and competitors.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Solutions Consulting team in understanding and explaining complex technical concepts to clients.
- Collaborate with the team to design and tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of clients.
- Ensure that proposed solutions align with the client or prospect's goals and budget constraints.
- Oversee the creation of compelling messaging, customized presentations, and demonstrations that effectively communicate the value of the solutions to clients.
- Assist the sales and customer success team in closing deals by addressing functional and technical concern objections from prospects and clients.
- Ensure the Solutions Consultants provide accurate and timely responses to product and technical questions.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Product, Marketing and Delivery to ensure a cohesive approach to addressing customer needs and feedback.
- Ensure that the team maintains up-to-date documentation of solutions, best practices, and case studies.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team and across the organization.
Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here's What We're Looking For:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 4+ years of experience. Typically requires 1-2 years managing and developing employees.
- Proficiency in understanding and explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Effective delegation, goal-setting, and ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively articulate technical information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to think strategically and align solutions consulting efforts with the overall business strategy.
- Ability to understand customer needs and build strong relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Project management skills to handle multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
- Experience working in a highly autonomous and impact-driven environment.
