Manager, Sourcing

About You

The Nutrafol Procurement team is seeking a Manager, Sourcing to lead new procurement and sourcing efforts that align with the Product Development team's pipeline. 

You’ll manage initiatives from concept through commercial launch, partnering with many internal and external stakeholders. Key goals for this role are to drive cost savings, optimization, standardization, and automation in new developments that fit into our current supply chain. Organization is critical to this role, as we are developing many new products on different timelines. This position will report directly to the VP of Supply Chain & Procurement. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage all new SKU launches from the supply chain and operational perspective as well as being responsible for managing launch timelines
• Identify key milestones and deliverables and work with various internal & external teams to develop a comprehensive work plan
• Collaborate closely (daily) with product development, procurement, R&D, and Quality departments
• Seek & prioritize cost savings opportunities & optimization in all aspects of the role
• Focusing primarily on sourcing packaging materials and packaging components, while supporting contract manufacturing, manufacturing services, ingredients, and new vendor services led by the procurement team
• Coordinate new vendor on-boarding and lead the quotation process pairing with procurement team
• Develop relationships with new suppliers and vendors with integrity, professionalism, and transparency
• Prepare and own cost analysis of new product launches

Requirements:

• 5+ years relevant experience in supply chain procurement within a retail environment
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business-related field
• Hands-on experience and solid understanding of supply chain operations and systems, including working with a product development team
• Experience with sourcing and/or procurement
• Ability to demonstrate examples of cost savings and optimization
• Knowledge of forecasting, logistics, planning and project management
• Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to refine processes and communicate issues
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
