As an Engineering Manager for our Federal Team you will lead a team of engineers supporting our Critical Event Management application for the Department of Defense. Our application runs in AWS GovCloud and provides risk and threat analysis capabilities to member of our Armed Forces.
What You'll Do:
- Work collaboratively with a team of engineers that span multiple disciplines.
- Provide technical leadership to software engineers
- Continuously improve processes
- Lead SCRUM ceremonies
- Maintain and prioritize backlog
- Manage technical tasks associated with security and compliance
- Translate requirements into technical work items
What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering
- 7+ years of working in an agile environment
- 7+ years of working in a cloud environment
- 4+ years of working with Infrastructure as Code (Salt, Terraform)
- 4+ years of requirements analysis
- 3+ years managing engineering teams
- Experience with the Microsoft Technologies – SQL Server, .NET Development
- Experience working on DoD programs
- Currently hold a Secret Clearance or a be a US citizen with the ability to obtain Secret Clearance
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain DoD 8140 “Intermediate” level or higher certification (formally DoD 8170 IAM Level II)
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $140,000 - $180,000 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
