Job Summary

Strategic Analytics is a growing team at Arch Capital Services LLC that has established itself as a driving force in how the business is run. This is achieved through the implementation of real-time predictive analytic solutions that move the company forward. Our track record is 100% adoption of our tools and services. Data plays a critical role in our mission. We create best-in-class data solutions from internal and external sources by leveraging a diverse set of cloud technologies including Logic Apps, Data Factory, Databricks and Python.

As a Manager on the implementation engineering team, you will develop cutting edge solutions that put analytics at the heart of decision-making. You will work closely with other members of the Strategic Analytics team on high-profile analytics projects that drive business strategies. As a key member of the implementation engineering team, you will extend our capacity to deliver and push the team forward.

The ideal candidate will be located near one of our offices in CT, NJ, NY, or PA. For the right candidate, we are also open to 100% remote.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and deployment of orchestration services including workflow automation, data extraction, and batch predictive analytic solutions
• Establish and maintain standards and best practices for all solutions
• Ensure design architecture and development aligns with the organization's overall strategy and follows best practices and standards
• Evaluate new implementation technologies and determine their potential value for the organization
• Lead collaboration with internal and external project stakeholders, developers, and the QA team
• Document and manage technical workflows and implementation processes

Required Skills/Experience

• 4+ years of leading data/implementation engineering projects
• 4+ years of Azure tech stack
• 3+ years of Python development experience
• 3+ years of logic app development experience

Desired Skills/Experience

• Experience with cloud technologies like Snowflake and Databricks
• Familiarity with the MLOps framework
• Exceptional collaboration and relationship building skills
• Comfortable handling ambiguous concepts and breaking down complex problems into manageable pieces
• Strong data manipulation skills for analytics
• Resilient problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to different target audiences
• Flexibility - able to meet changing requirements and priorities

Education

• College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent

For individuals assigned or hired to work in Jersey City, New York City, Westchester County, California, and/or Colorado, the base salary range is listed below. This range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

$130,752 - $201,066/year

• Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above range may be modified in the future
