Manager, Strategic Finance 


Rightway is looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Strategic Finance Manager is a critical role that will lead organizational planning and goal setting across functions. This is a crucial leadership role, working directly with the most senior leadership of the company and cross-functionally with business partners across the broader organization to set strategic direction for the company. You can expect to define and guide the team on key business decisions with detailed analyses, help track key performance metrics for the company, and act as a strategic partner to our Product and Business leadership teams. You’ll focus real-time on high-priority business issues and see your insights turned into impactful initiatives on a regular basis.


The perfect candidate will have an investment banking, consulting and/or growth-investing background paired with experience at scaling technology businesses, strong quantitative and analytical skills, along with experience or interest in running efficient, cross-functional processes. Strategic Finance enables Rightway to develop and execute on its growth strategy by driving financial visibility and accountability, grounded in data-backed evidence.

WHAT YOU’LL DO


Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Strategic Finance Manager is a critical role that will lead organizational planning and goal setting across functions. In addition, you’ll also

  • Be responsible for driving strategy for the company, working cross-functionally to identify, scope and monitor innovative growth opportunities and initiatives (organic and inorganic)
  • Develop and execute on Rightway’s growth strategy by driving financial visibility and accountability, grounded in strong financial analytics and facts
  • Manage Rightway’s growth with an emphasis on driving core financial planning cycles (annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, long range plans, etc.) and providing business insights and financial guidance to the senior leadership team
  • Be a thought partner to key decision makers and partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Accounting, IT, Product, Sales, and other teams to drive scalable analyses and insights
  • Work closely with leadership on quarterly board materials and subsequent fundraising events


WHO YOU ARE


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience, ideally in Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Consulting and/or a high growth tech environment
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting, financials, and valuation
  • SaaS experience is required
  • Analytical and modeling skills including experience with excel and powerpoint
  • Must possess excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Values-oriented, data-driven decision-making style
  • Excellent oral and written communication and ability to effectively collaborate and drive initiatives cross-functionally
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work in a fast-paced environment
