About the role:
The Manager, Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for designing and scaling GoHealth’s partner marketing channel and strategies. This position will work across multiple partner and buyer personas to create compelling value propositions, campaigns, and relationships. The main objective of this role would be to actively source new business relationships and subsequently manage company partnerships for the purpose of driving revenue and brand growth.
What you’ll do:
- Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management
- Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails and client visits.
- Research partners, identify key players and generate interest.
- Oversee daily management of large scale ad accounts- Google, Facebook, affiliate platforms, and more- via delegation to drive optimization and hit goal KPIs.
- Enable a culture of test, learn and optimize across all platforms to develop a constant learning organization.
- Work with stakeholders across marketing, product management, engineering, finance, legal, and data science to launch products and partnerships.
- Allocate budgets, track cost, and constantly evaluate success of campaigns and strategies.
- Work with and influence the inhouse creative team and leadership to assist in developing new creative strategies and messaging.
- Brainstorm, investigate, and size growth opportunities in digital marketing channels
- Partner with the Director, Marketing Planning and the Direct, Offline Marketing to work in conjunction to create weekly spend plans that maximize LTV/CAC rates.
- Identify new consumer archetypes and markets to drive new product customer acquisition, and work with a cadre of marketing stakeholders to build GoHealth’s customer diversification plans at both a strategic and tactical level.
- Leverage expertise as a consultant in weekly meetings with GoHealth creative teams and marketing channel owners to power rapid testing and iteration within the company’s customer acquisition engine.
- Brainstorm, investigate, and size growth opportunities in out-of-home, digital and offline marketing channels.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant field required.
- Experience in B2B outreach and sourcing of strategic business partners.
- Minimum of 3 years of marketing, account management, or business development experience for an agency or within a corporate partnership setting.
- Experience in effectiveness measures related to marketing campaigns.
- Awareness to current, effective marketing outreach techniques that influence behavior for commercial and cause organizations.
- High level of marketing and advertising knowledge through partnerships and across traditional and digital platforms to design strategies to meet growth goals and strengthen brand position.
- Ability to identify opportunities, communicate goals and deliver written action plans.
- Ability to work independently in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including negotiation and conflict management: the ability to effectively listen, apply servant leadership and communicate positively with media, sponsors, donors, and peers.
- Outstanding communication, networking, and interpersonal skills. Written communication including professional presentation skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or relevant field
- Advanced knowledge of the insurance brokerage space, regulatory and compliance standards, and the agent consultation process.
- Managed sales through adding and managing alliances/partnerships.
