Position Overview

The Manager, Supply Chain Enablement is responsible for facilitating the overall development, deployment, adoption and maintenance of Supply Chains policies, training materials, data strategy, analytics, and continuous process to improve internal procedures. The Manager of Supply Chain Enablement will work closely with critical stakeholders across the Source to Deliver processes in an ongoing assessment to improve process, procedures and controls that align to, and support Exacts long term strategies. This role will help develop systematic data strategies that support governing dashboards, ad hoc reports, and other critical operational needs. In collaboration, the Enablement team will align short- and long-term strategies to industry best practices across the Supply Chain, centering on enhanced technology, process, procedure, training, communication, adoption, and analytical governance.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Develops in collaboration with Supply Chain leadership and other critical stakeholders defined roles and responsibilities and educates stakeholder on role and responsibility.
  • Partners in collaboration with Supply Chain leadership the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, best practices and training material (e.g. System use, master data, business reviews, analytics, and performance management).
  • In partnership with Supply Chain leadership, the enablement manager will lead the development, delivery method, and monitor training requirements (compliance, process, systems, and professional development).
  • Oversee, maintain and monitor adherence to training modules and curriculums that support appropriate policies, procedures, and other Supply Chain operational area requirements.
  • Works with key partners (e.g. Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Contract management and Accounting) to create, develop, deliver and maintain training for the entire source to pay process.
  • Maintain and update Supply Chain SOPs, Work Instructions, Job Aides, Policies, training and other tools within defined control system.
  • In collaboration with key partners, performs advanced analytics, dashboard development and special support requests, as well as setting overall approach for Supply Chain data analytics.
  • In partnership with Supply Chain leadership and key partners, supply data sets for supplier business reviews on spend and budget to actuals across sites.
  • Publishes all Supply Chain process efficiency metrics and key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Work with Supply Chain leadership to develop and continuously improve internal procedures.
  • Serves as a central resource for access to expert sources/ insights, external market research, etc.
  • Continuously improve on catalog, punchout and other systematic purchasing processes and associated data post go-live.
  • Supervises staff; including, but not limited to, organize, and prioritize work, write/conduct performance reviews, train/develop, and manage work performance.
  • Communicates goals clearly to employees to ensure understanding and success in achieving them.

  • Maintains morale and supports employee engagement initiatives.

  • Ability to work set a working schedule that allows for flexibility that is hybrid in nature, working 3+ days a week in an office location.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.
  • Ability to use a telephone through a headset.
  • Ability to work seated for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability and means to travel 5% between Exact Sciences locations and supplier locations which may include overnights and weekend travel.
  • Ability and means to travel 5% between Exact Sciences location Madison locations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or a field related to the essential duties of this role.
  • 8+ years of professional industry related work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP or other ERP system.
  • 2+ years' experience in direct or indirect leadership.
  • 2+ Experience with Learning management systems (LMS), training software or leading the design of training materials.
  • 2+ years of experience within a regulated field such as HHS, FDA, CFPB, NAIC, FDIC.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • CPSM or professional procurement certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certifications.
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile or other quality management systems.
  • Experience with contract management systems such as Conga, Merrill DataSite, or DocuSign.
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization platforms.
