Job Summary
The Supply Chain Finance Manager owns the financials for Capital and Network Optimization projects and is a key business partner to the Engineering and Supply Chain team – includes the Operational Excellence (OPEX) team. Responsibilities include:

Partnering with Engineering and Supply Chain team to execute and deliver the annual Capital, Cost Savings and Operational Excellence (OPEX) plan

Collaborate with supply chain leadership to drive financial performance and align operational strategies with financial goals

Manage the monthly close and forecast process in a timely and accurate fashion

Develop, organize and implement assigned activities to support business strategies
-
Significant interaction with the Executive Finance Leadership (xFLT) team, and other leaders across the enterprise
This role reports into the Sr. Manager Supply Chain Finance, and is based in Camden, NJ with a flexible / hybrid work schedule.
Essential Job Duties
The Supply Chain Finance Manager will be a key business partner to the Engineering and Supply Chain team by contributing to our Capital strategy while identifying network optimization opportunities (cost savings) across the supply chain network.

Overall Accountabilities

Understanding of overall business processes, with a solid understanding of Supply Chain – ensure financial processes are adhered to according to Campbell standards and best practices

Maintain a strong rapport with various teams within the organization (i.e., Finance function, Supply Chain function, etc.) and be able to interact with all levels of management

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across multiple business functions – have an influential business acumen mentality and capability to share business knowledge with non-financial individuals

Aptitude to manage multiple priorities within a tight timeline and have significant cross-functional coordination – provide actionable insights to business partners and leadership

Prepare Board-level materials including annual Capital plans, mid-year forecast updates and confidential network optimization projects

Ad Hoc/Special Projects as needed

Capital Accountabilities
-
Manage $500M+ capital spend for the organization – lead the annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and management of the accounting/reporting process

Oversee the monthly forecasting (i.e., capital and project expenses) by partnering with Engineering and Operational Excellence (OPEX) team
-
Analyze all Capital projects for accuracy and follow company approval guidelines – prepare supporting schedules to summarize and present projects to senior leadership as applicable

Support post-project audits as required by policy and coordinate audits that are required across the network
-
Review control procedures over accounting and financial activities – partner with the accounting team on internal controls that are in place to protect company assets, adequate system controls are maintained and general ledger accounts are correctly stated (includes being SOX complaint)

Cost Savings / Network Optimization Accountabilities

Provide financial oversight to network optimization projects, directing analysis and recommendations on key initiatives to lower Total Delivered Cost (TDC)

Analyze and generate cost optimization recommendations across all aspects of Supply Chain – includes overseeing $100M+ of inventory losses and coordinating with workstream leads

Validate project savings (i.e., enablers, network optimization, inventory losses, etc.), both business case development (pre-project) and actuals vs forecast tracking (post-project) – accounting collaboration may be required (i.e., impairment testing, enterprise savings, etc.)

Strategic financial thought leadership on Supply Chain network projects – ambitions to find opportunities and utilize resources in addition to reporting

Scope of Responsibility
Reports to the Sr. Manager Supply Chain Finance. Somewhat independent; works under general instructions and expected to determine how to accomplish the work assignments. The individual acts as a business partner and consultant on all matters financial. Ensures application of established corporate financial policies. High degree of accuracy and integrity required with a strong attention to detail.Â

Education and Experience
-
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance, with a strong preference for a Data Analytics background. MBA and/or CPA preferred.

Relevant Experience: 5+ years of professional experience, preferably with a Supply Chain Finance or CPG industry

Strong ability to partner with all levels of the organization

Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Tableau, Power BI, SAP and EPM

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
