Manager Supply Planning

Location: Farmers Branch, TX

SUMMARY:

As Manager of Supply Planning, you will have a transformative opportunity to build and shape a high-performing team. Reporting to the Director of Supply Planning, you will lead supply planning and collaborate on the S&OP cycle. Your role will be pivotal in driving strategically aligned business goals, making a significant impact on our organization and customers by ensuring operational excellence, strategic alignment, and exceptional customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership and functional expertise to the supply planning team

  • Develop and implement supply planning strategies to optimize inventory levels, improve supply KPIs, and meet demand needs while complying with inventory policy

  • Teach and mentor planning team members, fostering skill development and improving outcomes

  • Collaborate with demand, merchandising, marketing, finance, strategic planning, and supply chain teams to gather insights that inform supply plans. Facilitate your team’s regular communication with these groups to understand new initiatives, sales and marketing plans, consumer behavior, and growth targets

  • Participate in the Sales and Operations Planning process, increasing shared understanding of key business drivers, and optimizing business decisions for improved financial & operational performance

  • Monitor and analyze key supply metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction

  • Own the E&O process; reporting, tracking, managing and communicating actions to improve excess and obsolete inventory positions

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational discipline, and innovation, driving a mindset of excellence and agility across the operations teams

EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in operations leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering results

  • Extensive experience in supply and or demand planning as planner and or manager, including S&OP participation

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making

  • Experience in driving process optimization, and implementing scalable solutions

  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability

  • Excellent project management skills, with a focus on execution, delivering on commitments, and managing stakeholders

  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, manage complexity, and lead change in a dynamic business environment
