The Corporate Development team creates the opportunity for TechNexus and its partners and portfolio companies to develop relationships, share ideas, and drive strategic product partnerships in real-time. We are looking for an entrepreneur at heart who will develop a vision and roadmap for the product based on input from internal stakeholders. In this role, the manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and ensure product success from ideation to launch.Β
TechNexus Systems & Products: Manage the tools we use to gather, analyze and report data across our ecosystem to support investment and collaboration activities; and the integration of third-party tools (CRM, portfolio management, sourcing databases, etc) to create a scalable, actionable operating system for TechNexus and our stakeholders.
Ecosystem Product Alignment: With over 250 active investments made on the principle that collaboration drives value for and from the portfolio and our corporate partners, TechNexus plays a role aligning and supporting the technical integration of products, solutions and services across this broad ecosystem.
Venture Studio: TechNexus makes both minority investments and occasionally majority control acquisitions, directly managing teams of development and engineering resources to support existing and new products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Assess pilot and product fit for corporate partners for new business ideas, manage the prioritization process and determine the resources needed for pilots/proof of concepts, and coordinate with corporate partners to enhance their innovation roadmaps and align venture pilots and technology to help drive forward.
- Show value in partner and venture engagement opportunities that build TechNexus as the trusted leader and catalyst in collaboration, technology, and innovation.
- Support TechNexus further in our current relationships with each partner to unlock valuable insights that will drive ongoing development.
- Manage teams leading complex, cross-functional, projects and drive progress by diving into technical details when needed while also thinking through the end-to-end experience.
- Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative tools, platforms, and products.
- Drive product vision, define requirements, coordinate resources, and guide the team through the product roadmap and key milestones.
- Collaborate with partner teams (e.g., engineers, PgMs, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements and meet product roadmap timelines.
- Define and analyze ongoing metrics to inform the success of products and improve product performance.
- Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product development to ensure productivity and enhance user satisfaction.
- Drive efforts with strategic partners on product development and represent business interests during design and development phases.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for engineers to understand.
- Maximize efficiency in a dynamic and creative work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in product design or engineering.5+ years of previous experience in technology consulting and/or product management.
- Proven experience in owning, developing, and communicating long-term vision and goals for a portfolio of products.
- Previous experience managing offshore development teams.
- Technical background and experience in driving product vision and requirements.
- Experience managing the complete product life cycle and integrating customer feedback.
- Ability to identify significant opportunities and drive product strategies and roadmaps.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience analyzing complex data sets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into understandable business terms.Β
