Position Summary:

The Manager of System Engineering will be responsible for providing configuration and support along with Level 3- 4 incident support for enterprise applications. This position is a key driver behind system operations, service delivery optimization, service improvement and responsible for the delivery and implementation of the current infrastructure environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess the health of existing systems and implement new standards and technologies, including Windows and Linux operating systems in the hybrid environment (on-premise & cloud)
• Lead implementation, maintenance and planning support in connection with deployment/maintenance of SaaS and enterprise solutions.
• Supervise the documentation and as-built diagrams of all implementations and data flows
• Provide third level support in connection with the resolution of major system/application issues and provide root cause analysis
• Provide support in the effort to maintain 100% accurate system documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the Cybersecurity Office on implementing controls and monitoring for compliance.
• Maintain deep knowledge of technology capabilities and product roadmaps of major vendors, specifically Microsoft, Google, Cohesity, VMware, Okta, etc
• Provide leadership for enabling future growth and Cloud First.
• Evaluation and development of technical risk mitigation plans.
• Be a leader for standardization (platform and configuration).
• Manage & mentor a team of engineers.
• Design and architect production environments, integrations, and SaaS applications
• Participate in the on-call rotation as needed and hurricane coverage.

Job Requirements, Knowledge & Skills:

• 7-10 years System Operations support, with emphasis on one major OS (Windows or Linux) and support of SaaS products
• 3+ years management experience.
• 5+ years of architecting environments.
• Bachelor in Science/Engineering preferred.
• Experience support SaaS email environments
• Deep knowledge of design, configuration, and support of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• Extensive group policy experience.
• Customer Service first attitude.
• Scripting experience in one or more languages (Powershell, Perl, Python, etc.).
• Ability to work closely and collaboratively with cross functional teams, customers and partners to achieve business objectives and exceed customer requirements.
• Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and methodologies.
