Manager, Systems Support
Job Description
We are searching for an ambitious Manager of Systems Support to lead our Technology Operations team. The team has primary responsibility for our support queue management, vulnerability management, security patching, and infrastructure monitoring. The Manager of this team should be passionate about building and supporting an excellent team, and adept at developing the processes and technologies necessary to drive improvements in our support operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Team development - recruit, develop, and promote A+ team members into our organization. Develop the internal processes and procedures necessary to ensure operational excellence for all areas within the team's purview.
- Queue management - ensure timely and quality resolution of support requests sent to our team, including the identification of key metrics and SLAs necessary to drive informed decision making.
- Vulnerability management - in partnership with our Security Operations team, manage our queue of systems vulnerabilities, ensuring the team meets all defined SLAs.
- Infrastructure monitoring - ensure that critical systems alerts are responded to promptly, and that any escalations necessary for a speedy resolution occur quickly.
- Systems Patching - drive the evolution of our patch cycle to meet evolving security standards; meet SLAs for both routine and zero-day path deployments; and coordinate the development of patch process improvements to reduce downtime and after-hours work for our team members.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting technology infrastructure such as servers, storage, networks, load balancers, VMWare, containers, Azure/AWS, or related technologies
- 1+ years as a lead engineer, team lead, or manager
This role is located in SLC, Louisville, Mid-town Atlanta or Duluth.
