Talent Acquisition Manager
The Talent Acquisition Manager will provide leadership in external and internal recruitment,
employment branding, talent sourcing and onboarding. The position has been created to strengthen the World Bank's focus on attracting top global talent from within and outside the Bank required to deliver business results in a changing business environment.

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for the talent attraction and acquisition strategy and our sourcing philosophy and technologies. This position will also lead the implementation of Bank's corporate and internal mobility recruitment programs. The role will ensure that we have an exciting employee value proposition that enables us to attract and recruit the best talent, alongside having consistent, simple, robust and fair processes which provide a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers.

This work, which requires strong collaboration across the Human Resources Management Team, will involve carrying out a comprehensive review of our existing recruitment activities from attraction to selection and identifying opportunities to evolve our approach. The Manager will develop and communicate holistic solutions, including defined goals, roles, processes, metrics, and communication plans to drive excellence in the talent acquisition function.

Key Accountabilities• Take lead responsibility for end to end strategic planning, attraction sourcing, and selection of internal and external candidates both for specific positions and batch recruitment, effectively managing candidate relationships, and ensuring a diverse pipeline of highly skilled talent is available• Lead the design and implementation of corporate programs including the Young Professional Program, Donor Funded Staffing Program and Global Secondment Program. • Communicate/engage with the senior leadership team about resourcing issues, philosophy and strategy, including preparation of updates and data; • Lead the Executive Resources function and support the batch recruitment processes for key roles, in partnership with the Director, Client Services and hiring managers on a variety of searches for Executive and key strategic positions• Collaborate with the Manager, Talent and Career Development, to ensure that Talent Management best practice is embedded into all processes, tools, frameworks, advertising and training, as well as the talent acquisition culture and mindset;• Develop and embed approaches and processes which mitigate the potential risks associated with external talent acquisition;• Take the lead in branding and outreach activities that clearly communicate the WBG's culture and Employee Value Proposition to attract the right talent into the institution• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that includes networking on and offline, identifying viable passive candidates, leveraging employee referrals, maximizing spend on advertising, participating in recruiting events, utilizing social media tools and resources, and developing innovative candidate sourcing strategies• Sustain a high performing team over time through effective people management

Selection Criteria
• This role will suit someone who has worked "in-house" (not in a Recruitment Process Outsourcing firm) and has significant knowledge of the talent acquisition industry and best in class talent acquisition and management practices across a broad range of technical areas • Advanced degree in relevant field (e.g., human resource management, organizational development, business administration or related discipline) and at least 12 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience;• Experience of developing and delivering a talent attraction and acquisition strategy within international organizations with a particular focus on employer brand and the Employee Value Proposition;• A great leader with experience of building, leading, coaching, developing and investing in a high performing team; • Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to drive results;• An in-depth understanding of the end-to-end talent acquisition processes and experience of implementing process improvements, including an ATS, onboarding tools and screening and vetting;• A deep understanding of selection methodologies and best-practice recruitment and selection;• Experience in international recruitment is essential and in less developed markets an advantage;• Experience of leading change efforts/initiatives which involve senior level stakeholder input; • Focused on providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders and candidates;• Flexible approach to priorities and strong team-work ethic; • Mental agility to keep pace with a constantly evolving business requirement.
