Job Description:

Description: The Manager Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading, developing, mentoring, coaching and supervising members of the recruiting team, forecasting hiring needs, reviewing background checks, recruiting and sourcing potential candidates using various social media channels, developing recruitment strategies, delivering full life-cycle recruiting, and leveraging professional network outreach activities for JPS Health Network.

Typical Duties:

  1. Leads, develops, coaches, mentors and supervises members of the Talent Acquisition team to ensure all hiring goals are met.
  2. Leads process improvement initiatives to meet the changing needs of the organization and to remove obstacles throughout the recruitment process.
  3. Collaborates with Human Resources teams, IT, payroll, hiring managers and education to ensure best in class new employee on-boarding experience.
  4. Day to day management to include: employee timesheets, PTO requests, coaching & disciplinary actions.
  5. Responsible for talent acquisition metrics and reporting utilizing data captured in Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  6. Reviews background check reports to include criminal, education, employment and licensure.
  7. Builds and maintains proactive partnerships with all client groups to fully understand the business needs, staffing needs and issues.
  8. Negotiates contracts and assist with RFP process for staffing contracts.
  9. Manages relationships and utilization of external recruitment resources including retained search, contract and staffing agencies.
  10. Partners with hiring managers to identify recruiting needs, candidate qualifications and sourcing strategies as well as to effectively screen and identify top talent.
  11. Utilizes effective sourcing and recruitment methods for hard-to-fill roles.
  12. Performs searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, applicant tracking systems, networking, internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals.
  13. Identifies potential markets, maintains liaisons and provides information of employment opportunities to colleges, schools, and career fairs including travel to recruitment events.
  14. Maintains current knowledge of Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program (OFCCP) part of U.S. Department of Labor, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act.
  15. Performs all other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

    Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited University.
  • 7+ years of recruiting experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of progressive senior professional or leadership experience.
  • Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's Degree in a related field from an accredited University.
  • Fluency in data analysis and recruitment metrics.
  • Previous experience in healthcare recruitment.
  • Preferred Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
  • SHRM, PHR or SPHR certification.
