Job Description
Manager, Talent Analytics collaborates with HR leaders to understand their strategic roadmap, sets expectations on key deliverables, translates deliverables into analytical models/charts/tables and promotes a data-driven decision-making process. The Manager, Talent Analytics manages the technical and business-facing team responsible for development and delivery of those models/charts and tables.
Key Responsibilities
- Advance HR to be a data-driven, analytical organization whose strategic value to business units is to enable and measure trends of how organizations attract, retain, and develop talent.
- Act as a catalyst to help HR elevate their analytical skills by training them to dive deeper into their data to create storyboards on state of talent for the leaders they support.
- Consult with key stakeholders, document, and evaluate needs and outcomes, formulate analytics plans, and select appropriate analytics approaches for deliverables.
- Prioritize tasks and deliverables and manage stakeholder expectations by meeting with key stakeholders at a regular cadence.
- Act as an Analytics SME in a cross-collaboration project setting.
- Identify gaps in system functionality, data, or processes that limit the scope of analytics and collaborate with the process owners and HR Technology team members to mitigate gaps.
- Create a stakeholder matrix, understand barriers to adoption of analytics solution, and drive a communication plan to mitigate those barriers.
- Provide project plan to implement new analytics solutions, manage resources, time and budget and to align with stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with privacy officer, HR Technology team and IT team on privacy concerns; provide solutions and steps to address concerns.
- Drive change management best practices required for successful launch of analytics solutions, including the development of appropriate collateral (job aids, frequently asked questions, training, communications) and success measures.
- Understand market trends and best practices by joining the analytical groups outside of Rockwell. Utilize internal and external benchmark data to understand the state of Rockwell talent.
- Provide Rockwell leaders periodic updates on the state of talent.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 years+ of Workday technical configuration experience, preferably in Reporting and Analytics
- Familiarity with Workday Security, Business Process and (HCM) configuration
- Workday People Analytics and Prism experience
- Experience with data presentation in PowerPoint to all levels of the organization. Experience with Workday Slides a plus.
- Strong project and stakeholder management experience at all levels of the organization
- Ability to influence and obtain buy-in to move plans forward from stakeholders and process owners
- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong consulting skills including the ability to train others.
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to look at complex issues from various perspectives and the ability to deliver a solid technical solution.
- Fluency in English (written as well as spoken)
