Summary of Job:
The Manager, Talent Development will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining talent management programs/processes that facilitate the personal and professional growth of Kyowa Kirin’s employees in alignment with strategic goals. The ideal candidate has experience with succession planning, career development and performance management.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, execute and manage a comprehensive talent management strategy that aligns with regional and global organizational strategies.
- Act as a project team member to the global talent organization to create programs that are aligned to One Kyowa Kirin.
- Facilitate and manage the talent review process to identify high-potentials, critical roles, succession planning and development plans.
- Lead talent assessment initiatives, including performance management and employee engagement surveys, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to ensure alignment and integration of talent management processes with other HR practices, including recruitment, onboarding and training.
- Create and implement employee development programs that prepare high-potential employees for future leadership roles.
- Analyze talent data to measure effectiveness and identify trends, making recommendations based on findings.
- Work closely with HR Business Partner team in the execution and support of talent management initiatives
Job Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field preferred.
Professional certifications in human resources, talent development, training/facilitation, instructional design or assessment tools a plus.

Experience
8 years of professional experience with at least 3 years in a human resource, talent management or leadership development role, preferably managing the area.
Proven experience in implementing, managing and monitoring talent management programs.
Technical Skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
Non-Technical Skills
Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong work ethic is required. Detail oriented and excellent follow through. Has the ability to flex and deal with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced, high growth environment. Has a passion for personal learning and development to be able to grow with the company. Cultural sensitivity and ability to develop consensus within a multinational organization.
Physical Demands:
Normal office environment with prolonged sitting and extensive computer work. Capability to deliver presentations/ facilitate workshops in front of an audience and virtually.
Working Conditions:
Princeton, NJ (Hybrid). Requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.
