This is a virtual/remote position considering candidates who reside within the United States, ideally located in the Eastern or Central time zones.

The Global Talent Management Team builds, deploys, and measures the effectiveness of talent and performance management programs at Johnson Controls, enabling our leaders to grow world-class talent to achieve our customers' mission. This impactful role works on programs across the enterprise.

What you will do

The Manager, Talent Management Analytics, reports to the Senior Manager, Talent Management. This individual will work closely with the enterprise and regional Talent Management team, key stakeholders including HR business partners, and the enterprise Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I) team.

How you will do it

  • Provide metrics and analyze data to support and measure effectiveness and efficiency of talent management strategy and programming.
  • Identify and recommend reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
  • Create reports for internal teams and/or external reporting
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
  • Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
  • Create enterprise data views and provide analysis on talent movement within the organization.
  • Present data and analysis to business and HR team members
  • Elevate the role of HR business intelligence and data analytics in strategic talent management activities.
  • Enhance and drive the integration of current HR Tools and talent technology platforms to enable business and process simplicity and analytics.
  • Work closely with the HRIS team to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool, draft data analysis for Talent Management team usage to drive deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels.
  • Manage system set-up and administration of Talent Management technology.
  • Conduct presentations and training.

What we look for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field required.
  • Experience with talent management outcomes
  • At least three years of experience in HR data analytics.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and have excellent communication skills and operate as a functional contact of talent management analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of Talent theory and experience developing talent programs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including MS Power BI.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and similar employee management software.
  • Passion for a talent mindset and driving performance.
  • Comfortable working in an environment in which businesses processes, tools, deadlines etc. are continually evolving.
  • Committed to creating and searching for new and innovative approaches to activities that enhance performance.
  • Resourceful in overcoming roadblocks that hinder processes.
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with change - knows how and when to be effective, successful change agent.
  • High degree of organizational and time management skills; able to set and manage expectations and competing priorities
