As a key member of the Enterprise Talent Services team, the experienced and enthusiastic Manager, Talent Services will support our largest and most dynamic clients. With deep staffing, recruiting, and leadership experience, you know what 'great' looks like. You will lead a sourcing and recruiting strategy that ensures we develop relationships, and lead focus with experienced talent in the world. To meet our clients' global resource needs, you will use data and your 4+ years of experience to inform decisions that make an impact. You seek to lead with growth in mind while ensuring that clients, internal partners, and talent who move through our process have an outstanding experience. This role will report to the Director, Enterprise Talent Services.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead a diverse global talent team to source and engage high volumes of talent on the Upwork platform to support client needs.
  • Partner with the leaders of the Enterprise delivery teams to source, shortlist, and deliver talent for our largest and highest value clients, at scale
  • Meet or exceed team service level agreements, and be accountable for fill rate and quality metrics
  • Partner with Upwork's Sales, Enterprise Recruitment, Analytics, Marketing, and Product teams to constantly improve program operations, efficiency and growth
  • Use and manage technology to engage and drive utilization of qualified and in-demand candidates
  • Ensure an outstanding journey for clients, candidates and internal partners

What it takes to catch our eye:
  • Experienced in Independent Contractor Marketplaces, Staffing or High-volume Talent Sourcing and Recruitment
  • You have experience building trust while delivering on expectations across a globally distributed team
  • You are proficient in collaborating with peers, customers, executives, and tailoring your message accordingly. You can take inputs and ideas then distill them to a cohesive and measurable strategic message.
  • Experienced partnering with cross-functional partners (including product, marketing, delivery) to develop new processes and solutions
  • Understanding of global sourcing techniques and tools to identify, court, and land passive talent
  • The spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship: you seek to take risks, think bigger, and never settle.

The annual base salary for this position in California and Washington ranges from $90,000 - $138,000 . The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position in California and Washington, and individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for the annual bonus plan or sales incentive plan and eligibility to participate in our long term equity incentive program.
