Manager, Technical Business Analyst

About the Role
As a Manager, Technical Business Analyst, you will:
- Drive the development and improvement of business processes within the technology and business organizations and understands client requirements, specifying and analysing these to a sufficient level of detail to ensure clarity of definition.
- Ensure and review data collection, analysis and documentation of a client's business needs and requirements.
- Ensure and review formal specifications and communicates business requirements between development and client to design and implement business solutions fully understanding design specification and documentation standards.
- Serve as liaison between development across SBUs for process and business improvement and process and system integration.
- Participate in short term planning sessions with a client or other stakeholders to improve a business process within an assigned client area of responsibility.
- Manage a structured requirements process to assess near-term needs.
- Identify business priorities and advises client on options.
- Establish and monitor metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Define performance requirements and helps formulate Key Performance Indicators for a project.
- Have comprehensive understanding of requirements, and recommends best practices and ensures these practices are used.
- Be accountable for effective change management within projects, in terms of ensuring that changes to business requirements are effectively managed to ensure minimal impact to projects.
- Develop relationships with a client by being proactive, displays a thorough understanding of their business, and provides innovative business solutions.
- Develop expertise and understanding of multiple Thomson Reuters technologies, products, and services.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Manager, Technical Business Analyst if you have:
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Computer Science required
- 8+ years of related experience
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong technical and systems skills with proven ability to learn new applications and previous experience using Business Objects, Excel, Power Point, and SAP
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources, ability to adapt to change, and attention to detail
- Capability of exercising independent judgment and recognize the critical financial impact to the business.
- Strong business acumen and general understanding of Finance
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
- Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multi-cultural and diverse business environment
- Ability to interact with various levels of the organization
