What You’ll Do:
The Manager, Technical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at Curaleaf will maintain and oversee VENA, our financial planning and reporting software tool. The Manager, Technical FP&A will simultaneously create and develop ETL processes while utilizing SQL to consolidate data, generate comprehensive reporting and data visualizations. The FP&A group is responsible for running the annual budgeting process, reforecasting the business, providing operational analysis, as well as partnering with business unit leaders to improve performance.
•   Oversee, maintain, and enhance VENA, our financial planning and reporting software tool
•   Utilize SQL for reporting enhancements
•   Create Power BI dashboards tailored to the specific needs of multiple business units
•   Partner with Accounting counterparts to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely reporting.Â
•   Develop insightful management reporting (i.e. bridge from actuals to budget/forecast)
•   Provide integral support for the annual budgeting process, financial projections, and sales and revenue forecasting
•   Work with business leadership on annual budget creation as well as quarterly reforecast (including cash flows and balance sheet preparation and analysis)
•   Partner and collaborate with leaders across the company and provide them with strategic insights and data-driven recommendations for critical business issues.
•   Support Earnings Call preparations through development of metrics to address external constituents
 What You’ll Bring:Â
•   Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, statistics, quantitative analysis or equivalent; MBA preferred
•   5+ years of business-related experience, preferably involving management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis and modeling
•   4+ years of hands-on experience with Excel
•   2+ years of hands-on experience with scripting languages (eg SQL, Python, R), writing queries and building functions
•   2+ years of hands-on experience using BI tools (eg. Tableau, Power BI) where you are building and running the report in the system using complex variables
•   Demonstrated understanding of ETL processes
•   Advanced spreadsheet skills and thorough understanding of Excel-based financial reporting and modeling
•   Detail oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
•   Ability to manage projects and prioritize multiple demands, driving results within critical deadlines
•   Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills
•   Demonstrated ability to successfully execute multiple project deliverables in a driven and changing organization
•   Excellent oral and written communication skills
•   Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity.
