Manager, Technical Program Management

The Manager, Technical Program Management, will support a team of highly skilled Technical Program Managers who plan, execute, and deliver complex technical programs that align with CLEAR's strategic goals. You will play a critical role in developing the team and influencing engineering and Technology at large — driving cross-functional teams to increase efficiency, promote innovation, and support continued growth for CLEAR.

What you'll do:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of TPMs, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence
• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Technical Program Management department, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the engineering, product, design, and security teams to drive the successful delivery of complex, large-scale projects
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization, implementing best practices in project management, risk management, and resource allocation
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of both the Technical Program Management department and engineering teams, driving data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement

• Program efficiency — reduce program delivery time via the identification and implementation of process improvements and best practices
• Program quality — implement effective quality control measures and process improvements
• Stakeholder satisfaction — program delivery through effective communication, stakeholder management, and meeting or exceeding program goals and objectives
• Development and retention of top talent — grow and develop the Technical Program Management team, as evidenced by a high retention rate and employee satisfaction rating on the team

• Leadership: You are an effective coach who can inspire and motivate a team of Technical Program Managers to deliver complex technical programs successfully and instill a thoughtful inclusive culture
• Program and Project Management: You have excellent program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Communication: You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives, technical teams, and business partners
• Technical Expertise: You have a strong technical background and understanding of software development processes, with the ability to work closely with engineering teams to drive technical projects forward
• Strategic Thinking: You have strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align technical programs with the company's strategic goals and drive innovation to support continued growth for the company

The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR’s total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units
