ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager, Total Rewards serves as an integral member of the Total Rewards’ Corporate Compensation and Corporate Benefits teams acting as the strategic business partner for the Lifestyle, Professional, and New Ventures Business Units developing and educating stakeholders on rewards philosophies. The position is the subject matter expert for compensation and plays a key supporting role for benefits. At the direction of the Total Rewards COE, you will manage and lead identified Total Rewards projects including: designing, deploying and executing the long term strategic compensation program roadmaps, harmonizing compensation and benefits programs when applicable, simplifying current annual processes, ensuring pay equity and pay transparency compliance, while leading all compensation based initiatives. You will be responsible for understanding the Total Rewards goals of each business unit, supporting the impacts, issues and requirements of compensation and benefits to help achieve the broader Total Rewards strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

For the business units lead the implementation of Total Rewards priorities, aligned with the Company's objectives, initiatives and budget guidelines

Proactively provide compensation and benefits consultation to the business and HR teams on relevant topics including market competitiveness, total remuneration/benchmarking studies, market trends and best practices, and legislative, tax and social changes that impact current programs

Manage global projects involving design-to-delivery of Total Rewards initiatives, including change management, communications and closely managing the relationship with the business through both operations and human resources

Provide compensation and benefits expertise in developing competitive offer packages and compelling offer models for internal and external candidates to better understand their potential total rewards

Partner with Finance to ensure that appropriate financial controls are in place for all merit-based and incentive-based compensation programs, and in evaluating and analyzing cost implications of current and proposed rewards plans

Collaborate with Legal and other internal stakeholders as needed to ensure compliance with local laws, regulations and contractual obligations

Optimize systems and technology in support of advancing compensation and benefit program administration and analytics impacting the business

Conduct regular gap-to-market assessments of total rewards positioning relative to the competitive market and lead annual processes including but not limited to compensation and benefits surveys, pay for performance and benefits enrollment

Establish and maintain relationships with compensation and benefit organizations, outside consultants and vendors, and leading Rewards practitioners on best practice approaches, market trends and strategy
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Bachelor’s degree
-
5-8 years of relevant experience in the analysis and design of compensation and benefit programs
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
-
Advanced degree is preferred (MBA, Masters in HR, Finance or related discipline)

CCP and/or CEBS or related designations are highly desirable
-
Thorough understanding of compensation & benefit budgets and funding requirements
-
Knowledge of compensation and benefits laws and regulations to drive strategy, philosophy, and compliance efforts

Demonstrated understanding of business cycles and needs

Self-directed and able to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneouslyÂ

Excellent analytical and diagnostic problem-solving skills; highly proficient in Excel
-
Proven experience in the design and use of compensation and benefits tools and technology

Experience with global compensation and benefits is highly desirable

Experience working in highly matrixed governance model
-
Ability to drive for results and achieve goals through direct/indirect influence

Strong relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

Strong knowledge of total rewards practices in Consumer Goods industry highly desirable

Experience with M&A and designing programs across business units

Experience with Workday and Payfactors are preferred

Travel: 10% of the time

Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees
