Grow your career as a Manager - Trade Strategy & Performance within ALG Vacations, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. In this role you'll provide key analysis, insight, and tracking/reporting to drive data-driven decisions and action to optimize performance of the B2B channel. The position requires the ability to review data from multiple sources, analyze, and drive action.
A successful Manager - Trade Strategy & Performance will:
- Manage the development of financial models to perform advanced analytics
- Provide agency profitability oversight by conducting analysis to support the Sales teams efforts to maximize agency profitability
- Conduct granular channel performance analysis and drive action across teams/departments
- Manage agency compensation model development, execution, and tracking
- Develop a streamline for your teams standardized and ad-hoc reporting needs
- Act as a business partner to the Price Match team by conduct profitability analysis and policy review
- Build and manage financial models that provide analysis of Marketing initiatives and key customer events effectiveness
- Act a business partner to the Operations team by providing analytical support for the annual base commission reset and tier adjustments
- Collaboration with Finance on P&L variances to plan
- Lead ad-hoc projects based on company need
A successful Manager - Trade Strategy & Performance will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Economics
- Minimum 8+ years of professional work experience performing data analysis
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills with modeling skills required
- Experience with BI tools and data models. BI and/or analytical tool knowledge such Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, QlikView, Think-Cell) a plus
- Experience with turning data into actionable insights
- Creative, self-motivated and ready to take initiative
- Data-driven and analytical
- Strong time management and follow-up skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and present ideas to internal/external leaders
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and meet deadlines
- Flexibility and willingness to conform to changing job responsibilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-orientated environment
