Job Description

Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks an Office Management  & Travel Coordinator to support the office management team in NYC. This role will report directly to the Global Head of Office Management & Culture.  We are looking for a highly committed and professional team player who is dedicated to customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owning the day to day operations of our Travel program and providing guidance and assistance to travelers as needed
  • Analyzing trends and monitoring travel budget and policy exceptions through our Travel Management Company
  • Creating a seamless travel experience for all travelers and continuously improving communications and documentation
  • Gathering data, analyzing, and interpreting various travel & office management reports
  • Creating management presentations (including vendor, travel, and budget) and submitting reports to the relevant department heads and senior management
  • Formulating & updating procedural manuals for the Office Management team and for the overall company
  • Working closely with the Head of Office Management & Culture on improvements to travel and office management processes, procedures, and documentation
  • Willingness to take on additional ad hoc projects as needed


QUALIFICATIONS


  • At least 5 years of experience in a travel, office management and/or administrative role 
  • Experience coordinating travel is a plus
  • Bachelor Degree required, preferably in a business related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-suite (excel/google sheets)
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure, and to use judgment in helping to determine the relevant urgency of a request or task
  • High degree of budgeting, organization, and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and great interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical & presentation skills
  • A positive attitude and friendly demeanor, with the ability to effectively build relationships with colleagues


Anticipated annual base salary range $75-105k, plus eligible for discretionary bonus
