Manager, US Latin (Miami)

Reporting to the VP, International Label Management, the Manager, US Latin will be based out of The Orchard Miami office. The position will focus on the development of key US Latin labels, artists, and releases in the US and globally.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage day to day relationships with an assigned roster of high profile distributed independent labels, managers, and artists.
• Oversee assigned labels’ digital logistics and operations ensuring digital content is delivered in a timely manner and to required specifications.
• Guide marketing strategies for campaigns through the use or internal tools and resources.
• Drive campaign efforts via communication across global sales & promotional teams.
• Provide comprehensive campaign updates to global repertoire owners and stakeholders.
• At times, conduct overall physical release process from strategy, to set up and coordination with sales, manufacturing, and inventory management.
• Utilize The Orchard’s data and analytics tools to inform marketing and sales decision.
• Assist in the management of product logistics inclusive of digital production, physical release planning, and product updates by way of Orchards technology systems and coordination with operation and supply chain teams. 
  

Who You Are:

• 4 + years’ experience within a label or distribution system managing.
• Coherent understanding of the US Latin music landscape through past campaign experience.
• Excellent knowledge of global digital and physical music landscape; including global digital and physical retail outlets, product development timelines, streaming best practices, and global marketing opportunities.
• Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and follow-through skills required.
• Experience & knowledge of using content management systems and digital metadata.
• Position requires excellent internal and external communication skills and professional diplomacy.
• Strong passion for and a deep knowledge of music.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
