About the role:
As a Global Marketing and Digital Communications Manager you will be responsible for maintaining ongoing relationships with MDS Global and Regional Marketers - ensuring MarCom plans and deliverables are aligned with global and regional marketing objectives and strategies, including the development and standardization of global brand positioning, core messages, segmented value propositions, and strategically relevant marketing claims.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Communications planning -- Own the development and execution for the PIVC platform (i.e., new product launch plans, cross-platform solutions, internal & external meetings).
- Digital and omni-channel marketing - Apply digital expertise to influence and create the evolution of omni-channel strategies to support key segments to support and drive customers through the buyer's journey.
- Creative translator - Lead the work of internal and external agencies to interpret business/marketing needs and preferences that enables agencies to deliver high-quality, effective creative strategies and impactful, integrated tactics.
- Creative and project management - Supervise all aspects, working with internal and external resources / vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Creative brief development - Facilitate the collection of internal input and share with creative agencies.
- Marketing - Assist marketing with the development of insights-driven value offers, claims, positioning statements and key messages.
- Results - Using analytical strengths, identify performance indicators and regularly report on the impact of global marketing efforts, return on investment and provide recommendations for improvements.
About you:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing communications plans and strategies aligned with key priorities, vision and marketing efforts
- Ability to think strategically; translate business goals into communications strategies that deliver measurable results
- Strong customer focused; understands and is responsive to customer needs
- Ability to think creatively and propose solutions that meet customer needs
- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
- Experience managing budgets and timelines
- Ability to multi-task while prioritizing workload
- Effective team player that works collaboratively as part of the MDS team while being able to work independently
Education and experience required:
- Bachelor's degree required in advertising, communications, and marketing or related field. An advanced degree in a related field is desirable.
- Experience in medical device / healthcare industry is desirable.
- At least 5 years of professional-level experience successfully driving strategic marketing communications
- 3-5 years experience marketing communication planning experience leading digital solutions and with an understanding of traditional and emerging/digital channels
- Experience working with creative agencies, managing print production, photo and video shoots.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Veeva, Showpad and Salesforce preferred. Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus, preferably InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Ability to travel 25%.
- Reporting directly to the WW MDS Marketing Communications Senior Manager, VAD
- Location: Based in Salt Lake City preferred, or NJ with regular travel to Utah
