Job Summary

Responsible for creating, guiding and providing strategic portfolio inventory analysis to senior management in support of business unit decision making, being succinct on recommendations that outline both risks and opportunities. Creates active relationships and partnerships with key functional areas across the organization to become an influential business advisor for large decisions. Challenges status quo to become a truth-seeker through data analytics and a broad understanding of our inventory management strategies that will drive impact. May manage a team including exempt and non-exempt employees. Provides subject matter guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies. Assists in development and meeting of departmental budget.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Partners with senior management to support business planning and operational processes throughout the year, based on the fundamental idea of rate and supply drive budget achievement, while being candid on true business risks with suggestions on how to improve.
  • Analyzes revenue and inventory key performance indicators developed by the team, communicates findings and risks, and makes suggestions to improve performance and expectations.
  • Carries out post-event analyses to validate forecast assumptions and identifies all additional factors associated with changes.
  • Supports senior management and other departments with informational requests and special projects.
  • Drives enterprise mindset into day-to-day tasks to challenge status quo.
  • Possesses understanding of Company policies and procedures and continually implements and reviews policies and procedures for consistency.
  • Trains, supervises, and develops staff, managing the day-to-day performance of the team and making suggestions to upper management for work performance improvement.
  • Continuously challenges and develops oneself to add skillsets to toolkit.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
