The ResMed Investor Relations (IR) team is responsible for building and maintaining effective two-way communications between ResMed and the financial community, including institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and other financial stakeholders, to facilitate enhanced understanding and awareness of ResMed's strategy, brand, financial performance, and long-term growth opportunities to ultimately achieve a fair valuation.

Let's talk about the role

ResMed is looking for a Manager, Investor Relations to serve as a key point of contact with the investment community. The Manager, Investor Relations will work in partnership with the Head of Investor Relations to engage with buy-side and sell-side analysts as well as build strong relationships across ResMed to support the function's two-way communications efforts. The Manager, Investor Relations will execute internal and external tasks related to quarterly earnings, investor roadshows, and meetings, shareholder analysis, and other IR-related activities. This is a highly visible and critical role that will partner and collaborate with ResMed's executive leadership team, communications, finance, commercial and legal functions to ensure we are communicating our ResMed story effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for investor inquiries and interactions; coordinate with Head of IR to provide timely responses to all inquiries
  • Actively manage, plan, and coordinate ResMed's investor relations calendar and related activities including investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, bus tours, and 1x1 investor meetings
  • Prepare briefing books with background information for ResMed meeting participants in advance of meetings or conferences.
  • Track and maintain details regarding sell-side analyst coverage, estimates, ratings, reports, models, and other relevant data; Review and manage detailed consensus models, and compare with ResMed's internal budgets/forecasts
  • Maintain Investor Relations contact database to ensure meeting notes and contact lists are up-to-date
  • Summarize and distribute sell-side equity research reports to key stakeholders across ResMed
  • Maintain and communicate competitive intelligence and analysis of industry peers and key customers to the leadership team
  • Arrange and manage preparation for the quarterly earnings call. Participate in, capture notes from quarterly earnings prep calls
    • Create and update quarterly earnings call materials, presentations, and executive prep documents.
    • Collaborate internally across functions to gather information related to quarterly financial performance
    • Ensure alignment and accuracy of figures and messaging presented in quarterly IR materials.
  • Refine and manage investor surveillance, targeting, and measurement programs, in partnership with external service providers and internal teams
    • Analyze and monitor ResMed's shareholder base, report on trends, shareholder shifts, and investor/analyst sentiment.
    • Support strategic targeting analyses and provide in-depth intelligence on prospective investors. Maintain global shareholder targeting documents, utilize targeting intelligence to assist with meeting prioritization
    • Ad-hoc shareholder analysis and reporting as needed
  • Manage the investor relations section of ResMed's website ensuring all information, disclosures, and presentations are accurate and up to date. Identify opportunities to enhance external investor resources
  • Partner with the Legal and Finance teams on the development of proxy materials
  • Maintain relationships with third-party service providers and advisors to ensure ResMed's IR program is utilizing best-in-class products, services, and tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Four-year degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Understanding of finance, financial modeling, and capital markets
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, NASDAQ IR Insight, and knowledge of other investor relations tools with the ability to quickly learn.

Preferred:

  • Wall Street experience or in-house/agency investor relations experience with a publicly traded healthcare or technology company; 5+ years
  • MBA or demonstrated strong understanding of finance, financial modeling, and capital markets.
  • Investor Relations Charter, or IRC

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

Base Pay Range for this position:

$108,000-162,000

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
