Manager/Sr Manager, Decision Support & Insights Group FP&A
Job Description
The Manager/Sr Manager, Decision Support & Insights Group (DSIG) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will partner across finance teams to make the gears of finance run smoothly; enable decision making to drive results. This role is the first point of contact for business unit CFOs/heads of finance for forecast, results update, QBRs, plan, strategic planning and ad hoc projects.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Manager/Sr Manager, Decision Support & Insights Group (DSIG) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will:
- Liaise with upstream and downstream finance partners to lead and support nearly every segment-wide initiative related to financial planning and analysis
- Serve as information hub for the whole of finance / proactively apply TR-wide guidelines, processes and monthly calendar to support segment requirements
- Champion finance change program initiatives like rolling forecasts, predictive analytics, Enterprise Book-of-Business, OneStream and customer self-service
- Consolidate sub-segment forecasts and results
- Manage planning and forecasting process flow, business analysis and performance reporting and strategic business planning
- Identify creative solutions for ad hoc reporting requests
- Facilitate evolution towards a global finance function powered by DSIG India
- Find opportunities to connect DSIG India with onshore stakeholders
About You
You're a fit for the role of Manager/Sr Manager, Decision Support & Insights Group (DSIG) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) if your background includes:
- Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Accounting or Finance), MBA strongly preferred
- 8 - 10+ years of relevant finance experience
- Self-starter with proven ability to work autonomously, collaborate and influence others to drive results
- Ability to story tell confidently with senior management and challenge/influence all areas of the business / communicate difficult and complex concepts effectively by altering communication style to the audience
- Collaborate across boundaries and global thinking / liaise with DSIG India on regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis as necessary
- Commercial & Internal Customer Awareness
- Compliance Minded / Setting Direction, Deadline and Priority Management
- Flexible / focus on innovation and results over static processes
- Proactive, organized, ability to multitask, managing time and competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting
- In-depth business and managerial knowledge of a department or sub-function
- Good knowledge and understanding of related functions

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $105,500 - $195,900. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
