Who You Are

The Manager/Senior Manager of Product Management will support the development of a late-stage commercial asset, Acoramidis, for ATTR-cardiomyopathy. The individual will drive cross-functional collaboration and tactical alignment, ensuring success in the U.S. and across the globe. The primary responsibility of this role will be to move the tactical execution of events/activities leading to and supportive of the launch of acoramidis with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs). Working closely with cross-functional team members, this role has both strategic and tactical responsibility for supporting product marketing, clinical marketing, and interactions with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to achieve key launch objectives. The position requires excellent communication skills, leadership, and a proven ability to influence the organization. Candidates should feel at home in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the Senior Director of HCP Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead critical elements of the HCP personal and non-personal promotional brand strategy aligned to strategic imperatives
  • Drive execution through the management of and partnership with external agencies, internal cross-functional partners, and field sales. Regularly measures the success of initiatives
  • Leverage market research and analytics to optimize promotional marketing tactics
  • Implements a communication strategy to ensure alignment with the sales team, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy
  • Assist in the creation of HCP promotional tactics utilized to drive brand preference
  • Assist in the development of all market-shaping promotion tactics
  • Gain approval for marketing materials through an internal review process, including management reviews and Medical-Legal-Regulatory; secure final production
  • Analyze complex brand opportunities and provide logical recommendations; lead any required action planning
  • Provide tactical and strategic input on key planning items across all HCP activities, such as omnichannel marketing campaigns and executions, conference planning, and unbranded disease education campaigns
  • Ensure that all marketing activities comply with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators, regularly tracking and measuring the success of initiatives and tactics
  • Establish close working relationships with other marketing colleagues to ensure synergies across the brand marketing mix
  • Proactively evaluate/assess the relevant market landscape, monitor changes in market dynamics, competition, clinician needs, and practices
  • Develop targeted measurement plans – setting goals and meeting KPIs
  • Work cross-functionally with agency partners, sales, commercial operations, brand analytics, I.T., MCM, etc

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • The role is based in San Francisco, CA, and the ability to spend time working with teams in our S.F. office is a must
  • Cardiovascular experience is preferred but not required
  • Successful launch experience in a competitive market is preferred 
  • Demonstrated record of successful pharmaceutical/biotech marketing progression/experience
  • A proven ability to leverage market insights from multiple data sources, including market research, advisory boards, and field force input, to uncover needs and develop opportunities
  • Experience with marketing strategy, sales, and regulatory policies and practices
  • Ability to conceive, develop, and implement multi-dimensional marketing and business plans
  • High-level strategic thinking, with the ability to translate customer insights into actionable marketing strategy and to align with key stakeholders on operational priorities
  • Proven self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team across multiple projects 
  • Collaborates seamlessly across functions to build effective working relationships and align on strategy and execution
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills 
  • High level of self-awareness and understanding of the importance of self-monitoring behavior for continuous improvement

  • 30% travel anticipated through launch; anticipated to be ~20% after
