This role offers a unique opportunity to be a strategic legal partner in a fast-growing global environment, focusing on structuring and negotiating partnership agreements that drive business expansion. You will support commercial growth while mitigating legal and operational risk, working closely with cross-functional teams including Partnerships, Sales, Finance, and Product. As a senior legal advisor, you will have ownership of complex embedded, reseller, and channel agreements, providing pragmatic, business-focused solutions. This position combines deep legal expertise with commercial acumen and requires the ability to navigate international regulatory frameworks. You will work in a highly collaborative, globally distributed team with a strong culture of innovation, flexibility, and asynchronous work. Your contributions will directly impact the organization’s ability to scale efficiently and compliantly.
Accountabilities:
- Strategize, draft, and negotiate complex partnership agreements, including embedded services, channel/reseller, and referral arrangements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure partnerships that align with business objectives while mitigating legal and operational risks
- Develop, maintain, and improve legal templates, playbooks, and knowledge resources to streamline partnership agreements
- Serve as a legal point of contact for the EMEA sales team, providing contract review, redlines, and negotiation support
- Provide legal training and guidance to internal stakeholders to enable informed commercial decisions
- Act as a solutions-focused advisor in negotiations, balancing risk mitigation with business goals and scalability
- Maintain compliance with data protection and other applicable regulations, including GDPR and relevant international standards
- Qualified lawyer with proven experience in commercial and partnership agreements, including embedded, reseller, and channel deals
- Experience supporting enterprise-level SaaS agreements and global sales transactions
- Strong drafting skills with the ability to create clear, enforceable, and practical agreements
- Excellent negotiation and strategic thinking abilities, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives
- Familiarity with data protection regulations (GDPR essential; US privacy laws a plus)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in HR Tech or SaaS industries is advantageous, but not required
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a solutions-oriented approach
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global, asynchronous environment
- Competitive salary range: $66,300 - $149,150 USD per annum
