We're seeking a future team member for the role of Managing Director, Global Head of Product and Strategy to join our Depositary Receipts team. This role is located in either New York City, NYC (HYBRID) or London, UK (HYBRID)

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Contributing to the growth of the business by enhancing existing and developing new product offerings that extend BNY Mellon's competitive advantage in the marketplace.
  • Owning new product development and launch, including feasibility, business case, product governance, technology development, operational readiness, implementation, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Tracking performance against strategic and revenue objectives throughout the year via business reviews with senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Providing subject-matter-expert consultation on products and services.
  • Taking ownership and managing the product suite- including product roadmaps and development, ongoing continuous enhancement, commercialization, operational and compliance activities.
  • Acting as the subject-matter-expert and key liaison with sales, relationship management, proposals, and business development teams to win new business, retain existing business, and drive revenue growth.
  • Providing product leadership for day-to-day management, product maintenance, and issue resolution with technology, operations, client services, marketing, risk, and other stakeholders.
  • Staying abreast of latest developments in the Depositary Receipts and adjacent fields to ensure BNY Mellon DR offerings remain market leading.
  • Leveraging data and analytical tools for key product decisions and recommendations.
  • Ensuring all control measures are in place and maintained to meet risk, compliance, and audit standards

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in securities services business area, ideally with some exposure to Depositary Receipts or adjacent products.
  • Significant success in leading the development and launch of securities related products/solutions that have delivered significant year over year revenue growth
  • Deep knowledge of securities services (markets, asset servicing, clearing and custody)
  • Excellent communication skills, proven ability to develop and present strategy at senior levels
  • Robust people leadership experience, leading and motivating teams while collaborating in a matrixed organization
