Managing Director, In Plan Regional Leader, West Region
Job Description
The In-Plan Region Leader manages a department that includes multiple teams led by managers and/or team leaders who are responsible for providing financial advice to an institution's plan administrators, forming relationships with institutional clients and increasing the institution's ability to effectively administer retirement plans to their employees. This job is responsible for the short to mid-term (1-3 years) execution of Institutional Retirement strategy and the operational direction of the department.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversees the delivery of consultative guidance and client relationship management for the organization's plan sponsors, consultants, payroll vendors, auditors and legal counsel regarding aspects of client retirement plans.
- Expands plan sponsor and client relationships by advising on retirement plan design, guiding through pension regulation changes, and designing programs to enhance plan participation and savings rates.
- Supervises communication with key influencer's to direct daily plan functions and processes as well as discuss fiduciary responsibilities and newly issued regulations.
- Educates plan sponsors about plan design and governance, compliance, audits, nondiscrimination testing, reporting and online services.
- Approves existing plan amendments and new plan implementations.
- Develops recommendations for Institutional Retirement strategy to ensure that business objectives are met by the department.

This role will report to the Head of In Plan Education and Advice and will require you to live within the Region.

Base Pay Range: $187,500/yr. - $312,500/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
