Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategy for building and expanding Kroll's Digital client base, leveraging your contacts as well as established Kroll relationships
  • Arrange, deliver and close sales presentations of Digital services to new and existing clients
  • Establish metrics around various levels of activity that include marketing/prospecting, closing and execution on new engagements
  • Develop and maintain a thought leadership position in the market
  • Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of the hard and soft law issues faced by investors as they consider Digital related issues in a range of markets and sectors
  • Build and maintain consultative relationships with corporates and/or financial institutions to identify and manage risks associated with 'Digital related issues
  • Create, sustain and leverage C-Level relationships in the marketplace
  • Serve as the lead on multiple, concurrent Digital engagements ranging from development of Digital policies to Digital measurement/monitoring and/or Digital matter resolution/remediation
  • Manage, modify, optimize and implement Digital products and strategies
  • Assure sound application of project management principles and quality assurance at all stages and phases of projects
  • Advise all levels of professional staff, as necessary, on project progress and client expectations while maintaining utilization and realization metrics
  • Recruit/develop, manage and oversee a professional staff to develop and deliver Digital services
  • Work closely with and leverage other Kroll professionals who provide complimentary services


The Managing Director will also contribute to the Firm's long term growth strategy through direct involvement with the following:
  • Managing client relationships; identifying and developing opportunities to enhance relationships with existing clients/contacts and new potential business (existing services or identifying and/or developing potential new services/products)
  • Recruiting, training, developing and evaluating Digital professional and administrative staff
  • Identifying cross-marketing opportunities within and across Duff & Phelps
  • Overall engagement responsibility for multiple Digital engagements, as well as potentially other Kroll service offerings
  • Demonstrating support in advancing company and practice objectives of profitability, professionalism and teamwork with colleagues and clients

Requirements:
  • 10+ years at a senior management level working either in a professional services, financial services or asset management organization.
  • Prior experience developing Digital design, methodology, strategy, and commercial policy governing all Digital initiatives.
  • A key interest in global events and markets, with an awareness of working across different cultural and political environments. Due to the global reach of our business, the ability to read and write in a second language is desirable but not critical.
  • Experience leading a globally distributed team.
  • Strategic vision & perseverance to steward a multi-year growth agenda
  • Commercial acumen & ability to go-to-market
