What You Will Be Doing:
The Business Strategists in Arrow's Corporate Strategy and Technology Office are responsible for driving and orchestrating projects focused on leading Arrow to make the best strategic choices in support of our business transformation goals. The position will be responsible for partnering with the ECS business leaders to support near-term and longer-term strategy development across critical areas, including business transformation, M&A, investment planning, partnership advancement, customer value prop definition, operating model modernization, and more. This cross-collaborative role engages and influences a broad set of organizations - including product, sales, engineering, marketing, finance, and operations - to lead projects and develop business unit strategy.
- Lead strategic business planning discussions for assigned business group(s) to formulate and implement organic/inorganic strategies that will accelerate the business unit's revenue growth and profitability. Drive collaboration efforts to ensure that business plans align with the overall Arrow enterprise plans.
- Partner with the global business presidents to clearly articulate business group strategies to internal and external audiences, including the executive committee.
- Work in partnership with corporate development and business leadership to build 5-year business plans.
- Build critical, insightful analyses of suppliers, competitors, customers, and ecosystem participants in a manner that drive novel points of view and actionable strategic options.
- Develop an understanding of the business group's key strategic needs and be responsible for the creation of M&A pipeline and portfolio strategy.
- Collaborate with leadership, finance, HR, legal, corporate development and other areas of the company to drive an integrated perspective on various M&A opportunities across Arrow.
- Research and conduct quantitative analysis for our business leaders, including strategic assessment, financial analysis, opportunity sizing, industry context, operational assessments, and product strategy.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering field and a post Graduate Degree (MBA) are required
- Experience working in a top-tier strategy consulting firm is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, product management, corporate development, finance, or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of total professional business experience
- Subject matter expertise of technology markets. Technical expertise is not required, but advantageous. Very strong demonstrated analytical/communication/influencing skills, needs to be able to influence at the VP/Executive level across the entire organization
- Exemplary skill in peer influencing, indirect leadership, and cross-group collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of the ecosystems and competitive dynamics that Arrow operates in across different markets
- Demonstrated results and accountability for broad leadership, building of followership and role modelling of Arrow's cultural attributes Exceptionally strong personal initiative, business instincts, and comfort with high levels of ambiguity Ability to manage multiple simultaneous high-priority projects (often including project management of cross-functional teams)
- Intimate understanding of Arrow's business, business model and competitive position in the market across the majority of our business groups and product lines is preferred.
- Proven ability to excel in an innovative, fast-paced environment, with rapid exploration and ability to execute
- Demonstrated problem-solving orientation with ability to leverage both quantitative and qualitative analyses to drive decision making
- Desire to operate at the intersection of technology and business, spearheading organizational, operational, and technological change

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$145,800.00 - $350,013.13
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
