Managing Medical Director

POSITION SUMMARY:

• The Managing Medical director is responsible for monitoring and improving the level of care for patients.
• Medical directors are responsible for participant care, clinical outcomes, and the implementation and oversight of quality assessment, performance improvement, and performance management.
• Medical directors will work closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and other executive management teams to implement strategies that enhance patient care and improve medical practice.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Doctorate- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine

Experience:

• 5 years' experience in clinical medicine
• 3 years' experience in clinical leadership

Licensure/ Certification:

• Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
