Job Description

This role typically includes leading a project for implementation of Financial Planning Process using Oracle Anaplan. This position is responsible for the design and development of Anaplan Models and integrations. This position will collaborate with various technical experts within our organization to implement technologies within our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system. This position will provide best-fit architectural solutions for new initiatives; assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and anchor Proof of Concept developments. This position will provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third party services, designing and developing complex features for clients' business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluates business processes and develops process improvements with focus on optimizing use of Anaplan
• Work closely with finance to understand functional requirements and executes them through successful implementation
• Lead requirements discussions
• Analyzing requirements around planning, budgeting & forecasting requirements
• Responsible for the applications design and lead Anaplan Models development
• Position will provide solution architecture for the business problem, designing and developing complex features for clients' business needs.
• Application Design point of contact for Planning and Analyst Teams
• Provide Solutions to existing Architecture Design on current system
• Mentoring the development team around complex situations
• Serve as the architectural SME for large-scale connected planning solutions.
• Doing the impact analysis on existing system for any new product, application, project, or technology
• Doing technology assessment for technology trends, conduction proof of concept and cost management analysis on existing system for any new product, application, project, or technology
• Exemplify the Anaplan way.
• Client co-ordination and driving discussions for design signoffs
• Design, develop and deliver high quality reporting dashboards
• Posses sound technical knowledge on Lists, Modules, Data Hubs, New UX, ALM
• Expert in Anaplan space optimization and formula tuning
• Lead production support issues based on severity and work with other teams to resolve them in a timely manner
• Support UAT activities
• Support production deployment
• Collaborate effectively with other groups
• Should be able to coordinate with functional/development teams independently
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Required Skills

• EPM Experience 12+ Years
• Anaplan Certified Solution Architect
• 10+years of experience in supporting financial platforms like Anaplan, SAP BPC, Hyperion etc.
• 7+years of experience in Anaplan as a model builder and knowledge of FP&A, Supply chain etc.
• Knowledge of APIs (REST) and other integrations patterns is nice to have
• Experience in Implementation of Anaplan with strong Application Development process experience on Anaplan solution areas.
• Experience in Requirement Gathering & Solution Design
• Strong functional knowledge in Finance, Payroll and HR business processes and their interdependencies
• Designed and delivered high quality digital planning applications across domains (Finance, Supply chain etc.)
• At least completed 3-4 end to end Anaplan implementations
• Complex Anaplan model building experience.
• Experience working in an Agile Environment.
• Experience in data integration tools skill set such as Anaplan Connect, CloudWorks etc.
• Lead analysis, architecture, design, and development of Anaplan Solutions.
• Identification of business requirements, functional and technical design, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures.
• Expertise in building Modules, Dashboards, Lists, Processes, and writing complex member formulas and understanding of Data integrity between models.
• Proven ability to connect business requirements to technical solution design.
• Lead full life-cycle implementations.
• Maintain Test scenarios and expected results for test streams, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Deployment Testing.
• Should have experience on Peak Load Test, Stress Test and Endurance Test.
• Hands on Experience on Anaplan Models
• Good communication Skills
• 12 plus years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
