Urjanet is seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join our Engineering team. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving interesting and complex problems and wants to work with a team of talented engineers. If you're excited about working in a collaborative environment, then this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the QA team to develop effective strategies and test plans
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
Evaluate product code according to specifications
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Help troubleshoot issues
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Experience embedded within an agile team, rather than on a standalone, separately managed QA group
- Plus: some experience/interest in automated testing
- Plus: some sort of coding experience/background/enthusiasm
- preferred experience: writing/maintaining test plans
- preferred experience with Jira/confluence or similar bug tracking/documentation tools
- preferred experience with git/bitbucket/GitHub style code management
- preferred experience with Jenkins/Jenkins-style deployment
- preferred experience/knowledge/enthusiasm for CI/CD
