Manual QA Engineer (Backend)

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer. This is a great opportunity to work with relational and document-oriented databases, various REST API clients, proxy tools, and to test analytics and marketing logic.

In this role, you will

• Perform manual testing of the backend using API tools and databases
• Conduct smoke, sanity, and regression testing for backend systems
• Create and maintain test documentation
• Participate in SCRUM processes and work within the SDLC framework
• Conduct A/B testing
• Work with internal products, such as the admin panel
• Investigate and troubleshoot bugs
• Build and manage test reports
• Continuously improve testing speed and quality
• Perform functional testing of new features

It’s all about you

• At least 1 year of experience in backend testing
• Experience in testing mobile and web applications
• Proficiency with tools like Postman and Swagger
• Familiarity with proxy debugging tools (e.g., Postman, Charles, Fiddler)
• Experience with MongoDB Compass (querying, deleting, and editing data)
• Ability to quickly grasp new ideas and concepts
• Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence
• Solid understanding of SCRUM processes
• English proficiency at an Intermediate level or higher
• Strong skills in analyzing requirements
• Experience with A/B testing
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving
• Effective communication and collaboration
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet deadlines without compromising quality
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive approach
