Manual QA Engineer (Mobile)

We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality of our mobile applications. You will work with AI & ML technologies on a profitable, ever-evolving product with no legacy code, receiving mentorship from senior developers and tackling engaging challenges.

About the product: Our product is a global communication app that connects millions of users worldwide. It allows you to easily find new friends and chat through high-quality video or text messages. Available on Android and iOS, it is designed for users in the US, Canada, the UK, European, and Arab countries. We are proud of how many people we connect daily!

In this role, you will

• Manual testing of mobile apps using devices, API tools, and databases
• Conducting smoke, sanity, and regression testing
• Creating and maintaining test documentation
• Working within SCRUM teams to ensure product quality
• Performing A/B testing and working with internal tools like admin panels
• Investigating bugs, building detailed reports, and optimizing testing procedures

It’s all about you

• Minimum 1 year of mobile testing experience (Android experience is a must)
• Experience with MongoDB/SQL
• Experience in web application testing
• Proficiency with tools such as Postman, Swagger, and familiarity with proxy debugging tools like Charles or Fiddler
• Experience with MongoDB Compass for querying, deleting, and editing data
• Quick learning ability, with proficiency in using Jira and Confluence
• Understanding of SCRUM processes
• English language proficiency at an Intermediate level or higher
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, effective communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and meet deadlines without compromising quality
• Curiosity and a strong desire for continuous learning and improvement




Would be a plus

• Experience with A/B testing and using analytics tools such as Grafana, ClickHouse, DataGrip, Amplitude, or AppsFlyer
• Familiarity with installation testing (organic and non-organic app installs)
• Experience in creating and maintaining automation tests
• Knowledge of relational database testing, Android Studio, XCode, and performance/stress testing using tools like JMeter
