Job Description:

As a Manual QA Tester at R5 Labs EU, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality and security of our fintech solutions, supporting our American clients. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely, allowing you to collaborate with a dynamic and diverse team.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ensure that test objectives align with project goals.

Test Case Design: Create detailed test cases based on project requirements and user stories. Apply best practices in manual testing to maximize coverage.

Manual Testing: Execute test cases meticulously, documenting defects, inconsistencies, and issues. Verify and retest fixes as needed.

Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate new features and changes, ensuring they do not impact existing functionality. Maintain a regression test suite.

Functional and Non-functional Testing: Conduct both functional and non-functional testing, including performance, security, and usability testing.

Defect Management: Track and manage defects using industry-standard tools, collaborating effectively with development teams for resolution.

Documentation: Maintain accurate test documentation, including test plans, cases, and results. Generate test summary reports as required.

Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and emerging tools in manual testing. Suggest and implement process improvements

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of English both written and spoken.
• Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester, preferably in the fintech sector.
• Strong grasp of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Familiarity with fintech industry regulations and compliance is advantageous.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Comfortable working both independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in industry-standard testing tools and defect tracking systems.

Tools and Technologies:

TestRail: Utilize TestRail for test case management and execution tracking.

JIRA: Collaborate with development and product teams using JIRA for issue tracking.

SQL: Perform database testing using SQL queries.

Browser Dev Tools: Inspect and debug web applications using browser developer tools.

Security Scanning Tools: Implement security testing tools and methodologies.

Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
