Job Description

Qualifications:· 5+ years of experience as a QA Tester; Proven work experience in software quality assurance· Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes· Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.· Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing· Strong experience in API Testing.· Solid knowledge of SQL.· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.· Good to have experience in automation testing.· Good to have experience in performance/load testing.· Good to have working in Linux environment is a plus.

Skills Required

5 years experience in Test case design and execution - Functional/ Integration / System tests2 years experience in API Testing Experience2 years experience in Database Testing(SQL Experience)2 years of Agile experienceGood to have 1 yesr of experience in Basics of Performance testing and Load testingGood to have 1 year of Automation testing experience in java applications. Ex: junit/seleniumGood to have experiance in Maven, Ant, Script, Linux

Responsibilities:

Understand/Analyze the user stories/use cases/requirements and identify the gaps/prepare queries and provide feedback.
Active Participating in backlog grooming, requirement discussions and providing input on requirements and potential problems.
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimate, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Execute all levels of testing (Component, System, Integration, and Regression, Performance/load)
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track defects/bugs/inconsistencies in the product.
Identify the impacted areas for testing and perform regression testing.
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.· Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the developing team to correct errors and support testing for product release
Understanding of User Experience· Problem-solving, Attention to detail, Continuous learning, Time management and Critical thinking skills
